151Music.com is not dead yet. You may have noticed that there's been a lack of new music produced on the site recently. There have been a lot of bumps that have caused a delay in the production of any new arrangements.

A little while ago (a few month's really) I mentioned that I was going to go back and score all of the music and parts on the website. That's taken a lot longer than I initially thought it would. On top of that, I've had to start using Windows Vista. The big problem there that is that the sound card drivers on vista won't allow me to record MP3s the way I did in XP. So even if there were new arrangements I'd have no MP3s of them to post.

But, now I've got about half of all of the arrangements printed to PDF and compiled into zip files that contain scores and parts. These zip files will be made available soon. I am currently implementing changes that will allow registered users to get these files with the click of the button. Once that's done there are a couple of more site changes to be made and then, it's back to posting new music.

So, I hope you bear with me while these changes are taking place. There may be a new piece that goes up every now and again, but for the next couple of months the site is going to be slowly undergoing changes. I suggest that anyone curious about when new pieces will be released should sign up for the RSS feed.
