| Description | The praise suite is composed of four movements. Each based on a different hymn or song of worship. The four parts each represent different aspects of a Christian worship service. Movement 1The Lord Bless You and Keep You is based on Numbers 6:24-26 and is a song whose words can be thought of as welcoming or as a prayer for protection and well being as someone departs. This represents welcoming and prayer in worship. 24 The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." Movement 2God Alone is a song that represents a dependence and recognition of God's power. Songs like this help to turn the focus of worship toward God. Psalm 62:1 My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. Movement 3Hallelujah is a song of rejoicing and praise. This represents the joyful and exuberant side of worship. The subject matter for this song is not pulled from a particular verse, but from the joy of the overall message and acts of a loving and blessing God. Movement 4Men Who Dream. |
